PUZZLE: proBlemaTical odd tangos (aka the girl in the square)

Hint 1

If you’re looking here, you’re in a jam. This puzzle here is an anagram.

Hint 2

Hint 3

The nouns in question, in case you missed, are already revealed in the courier list.

HOW TO SOLVE IT

This puzzle is an anagram. You must rearrange the letters to form a sentence that makes sense. The capital letters are a hint that the message includes proper nouns. These names are already revealed in the “Courier Intel”.
SOLUTION:

The answer

Rearranged, the message is: B Talmadges drop location is the Tree Hollow
PUZZLE: www.theresystance.com/culperring

Hint 1

To understand the message is what you want. To know what it means use the color of font.

Hint 2

Ignore the colors, the shape and the hype. One is revealed by the letter’s font type.

Hint 3

The square will show you what to read last. When you figure that out you know you have passed.

Hint 4

You got to the website, but that’s just two-thirds. Go back to the grid to find the right words.

HOW TO SOLVE IT

The web address takes you to a password protected page. The password is a combination of words that you discover when you solve this puzzle. The puzzle is a grid of three sentences blended together. The letters of each sentence are connected by one of these things, the font color, the font type, or the color of the square:
SOLUTION:

The answer

Red font color letters spell out: This password allows you to complete your mission.  Bradly Hand font type letters spell out: Use code phrase for the spy who sends to Talmadge.             Aqua square color letters spell out: Use drop location for the spy that employs the code phrase Underhill.       The combined words are the password to www.theresystance/culperring: oysterblackcove

PUZZLE: Courier Intel

Hint 1

Not sure what to do to get back on course? This type of puzzle is a striped horse.

Hint 2

To organize this, do what I did. Put all the elements into a grid.

Hint 3

There’s different ways to keep track of things but you could use color to show what’s linked to what

Hint 4

After all the connections the Intel permit, use logic to make all the elements fit. To check your work and make sure it’s true, remember to follow Intel number 2.
SOLUTION:

How to solve it

A “Zebra” puzzle is a logic type in which different elements are connected together by a series of facts about their relationships. In this case, you must use the Courier Intel to make connections between: Name of the Spy, Code Phrase used, Drop Location, Message Sent, Recipient of Message, and Message Received, and Received from Whom.    Two pieces of intel are sent to you as encrypted messages.     Some of the connections will be negative ones (e.g. “Rivington does not use the boarding house as a drop location”).      A grid is the best structure to use to organize the elements and you should have some way to code elements to show they are connected. One way is a spreadsheet and the color of each cel.                 For example, when you get this intel, “The spy who uses the code word Cato uses the Tailor shop as a Drop Location”, CATO and A. STRONG become linked to TAILOR SHOP and CAPTURE PLANNED. At which point those four elements can be re-coded the same color.   Further intel will reveal more connections. After all the intel, including the two encrypted ones, many of the elements remain unconnected to any others. Use your logic to fit all the elements together. Remember that no spy can send to the same one that sends to them.
